ABOUT US

We have been in the painting business for over 10 years. Specializing in Residential and Commercial projects. Olympian Painting was founded in 2017.

Our crews are trained under our SOPs (standard operating procedures) for any interior, exterior or cabinet painting project. We never sacrifice value to save a few dollars, or cut corners. Customer Satisfaction is our main priority and we follow the 100% Satisfaction standard that we set for every single client. Our lines of communication are the most important thing and we encourage you to communicate at all times with the job site foreman or the owners.

backsplash/tile and countertop installation services

All our projects come with a complimentary color consultation where we will go over color options together and figure out which colors you would want to see samples of before making your final decision on colors.

The Olympian Process

The standard process that all our cabinet refinishes undergo.

  • Remove all doors and drawers and label them each to their corresponding position for ease of installation and if working with multiple colors to know which doors go what color
  • Safely transport the items back to our shops to undergo our finishing process which includes
  • Degreasing and cleaning the doors to get rid of any oils or residue on them
  • Scuff sand the surface to ensure proper adhesion of our primer and vacuum and wipe off all the dust
  • Spray 2 coats of primer on the backs, flip the same day and spray 2 coats on the front (All of our spraying happens in a controlled environment with exhaust fans and fans running to accelerate dry me and minimize dust on the surface)
  • Let items sit overnight before sanding and checking for imperfections (if old handle holes are supposed to be filled this would be the step we would start addressing those). Blow the doors with an air compressor vacuum and wipe down to eliminate all the dust the sanding will cause.
  • Spot prime any imperfections we filled with a rale can
  • Spray 2 coat of topcoat on the backs and wipe doors again before they go in the spray booth again. Let the back sides sit overnight to cure properly before moving onto the fronts the next day
  • Get doors ready to be transported, in the meantime while all this is happening the structure is following the same timeline with the addition of masking everything and that includes
  • Cover floors with paper, countertops with plastic, move any appliances if possible and mask, cover walls, the boxes inside the cabinets, place plastic barriers and create doorway to contain the kitchen environment from the rest of the house.
  • White glove installation after everything is cleaned up and any touch ups are taken care of. Any extra paint we will leave with you for any future touch ups.

What products we use

At Olympian we strictly use cabinet wood coatings and offer a variety of products to meet your needs.

  • 1-Component Water-Based Paints: Ready to use without mixing, ideal for low-traffic kitchens or aesthetic updates. Outperforms top-quality cabinet or trim paints from major brands.
  • 1-Component Solvent-Based Primer: Fast-drying with excellent performance, though it has some odor. Best for new construction or homes where you can air out the space post-project.
  • 2K Polyurethane Water-Based Paint/Topcoat: Requires mixing with a catalyst for top durability. With limited pot life (2-3 hours), it offers great durability, ease of cleaning, and chemical resistance—perfect for moderate-use kitchens.
  • 2K Polyurethane Water-Based Primer: Uses the same catalyst as the topcoat for superior stain and tannin blocking. It bonds well to surfaces and is ideal for occupied homes due to its quick odor dissipation.
  • Degreasers: We prefer eco-friendly Simple Green Concentrate, Krud Kutter Heavy Duty, paint thinner for adhesive residue, and denatured alcohol for tough stains.

Warranties we offer

All of our projects come with a warranty and our personal guarantee ranging from 2-5 years.

Peeling: Caused by a weakened bond between paint and surface due to moisture or extreme weather, leading to peeling.

Blistering: Bubbles form under the paint from moisture or heat, eventually bursting and causing peeling.

Fading: Color loses vibrancy due to UV exposure or environmental factors, causing pigments to break down.

Chalking: A powdery residue forms as the paint’s binder deteriorates, releasing pigment particles, creating a chalky look.
